Warranty & Protection Policy

Breliio umbrellas are designed for everyday reliability, refined appearance, and long-term use. This policy explains the coverage included with every Breliio umbrella, as well as the optional Breliio Extended Care and Lost Umbrella Protection add-ons.

1. Standard Breliio Warranty

Every Breliio umbrella includes a 1-year Standard Breliio Warranty from the date of purchase.

The Standard Breliio Warranty covers issues, defects, and damage that affect the normal function of the umbrella within the warranty period. This includes, but is not limited to, issues affecting the umbrella frame, ribs, shaft, canopy attachment, and general usability.

If a covered issue occurs, the customer must return the umbrella to Breliio for assessment. Once the claim is approved, Breliio will provide a replacement umbrella free of charge.

Cosmetic damage may be covered under the Standard Breliio Warranty, but it will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the cause of the damage. Cosmetic damage includes visible wear, scratches, marks, discoloration, dents, or other appearance-related issues that do not necessarily affect the function of the umbrella.

The Standard Breliio Warranty does not include loss protection. If an umbrella is lost, misplaced, stolen, or otherwise cannot be returned to Breliio, it is not covered under the Standard Breliio Warranty.

2. Breliio Extended Care

Breliio Extended Care extends warranty coverage to 5 years from the date of purchase.

Breliio Extended Care provides extended protection for major functional damage affecting the umbrella’s structure and usability. This includes damage to the umbrella ribs, damage to the main shaft/pole, umbrella frame snapping, and other covered structural failures.

For Breliio Origin umbrellas, Breliio Extended Care also covers the opening mechanism.

Cosmetic damage under Breliio Extended Care is assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the cause of the damage. Breliio reserves the right to determine whether cosmetic damage qualifies for replacement under Breliio Extended Care.

Breliio Extended Care does not include loss protection. If the umbrella is lost, misplaced, stolen, or cannot be returned to Breliio, it is not covered under Breliio Extended Care.

To make a Breliio Extended Care claim, the umbrella must be returned to Breliio for assessment. Once the claim is approved, Breliio will provide a replacement umbrella in accordance with this policy.

3. Lost Umbrella Protection

Lost Umbrella Protection provides 5 years of coverage from the date of purchase for customers who lose their Breliio umbrella.

If the covered umbrella is lost, the customer may purchase the same model as a replacement for 50% of the current listing price shown on the Breliio website at the time of the replacement request.

Lost Umbrella Protection is designed to provide a simple and hassle-free replacement option. The customer does not need to return the original umbrella for a lost umbrella claim.

Lost Umbrella Protection cannot be combined with any other discount, promotion, coupon code, bundle offer, or sale price for the replacement umbrella. The 50% replacement price is calculated based on the listed website price of the same model.

If the replacement umbrella is purchased as part of a larger order, the Lost Umbrella Protection discount applies only to the replacement umbrella. Other items in the same order may still qualify for other eligible promotions, such as free shipping, provided they meet the applicable promotion requirements.

If the same model is no longer available, Breliio may offer a comparable replacement option at its discretion.

What Is Not Covered

Unless specifically approved by Breliio, the following are not covered under the Standard Breliio Warranty or Breliio Extended Care.

  • Loss, theft, or misplacement, unless Lost Umbrella Protection was purchased.
  • Damage caused by misuse, intentional damage, neglect, or improper handling.
  • Damage caused by modification, alteration, or attempted repair by anyone other than Breliio.
  • Normal wear and tear that does not affect umbrella function.
  • Cosmetic damage that Breliio determines was caused by misuse, rough handling, or external factors.
  • Damage caused by use outside normal umbrella conditions.
  • Any umbrella that cannot be returned to Breliio for assessment, except for valid Lost Umbrella Protection claims.

How to Make a Claim

To make a warranty or protection claim, please contact Breliio customer support with the required information. After receiving the claim, Breliio will review the information provided and may request additional details if necessary.

Provide your order details

Include your order number and the email address used to place the order.

Describe the issue

For warranty claims, include a clear description of the issue and photos or videos showing the damage or defect.

Return the umbrella if required

For Standard Breliio Warranty and Breliio Extended Care claims, the umbrella must be returned to Breliio for assessment.

Receive the approved solution

Once the claim is approved, Breliio will provide a replacement or support option in accordance with this policy.

For Lost Umbrella Protection claims, the original umbrella does not need to be returned.

Replacement Terms

Approved warranty replacements will be provided as the same model and color where available. If the same color or model is unavailable, Breliio may offer a comparable replacement at its discretion.

A replacement provided under warranty does not restart or extend the warranty period. The original warranty or protection period continues from the original purchase date.

Warranty and protection coverage is attached to the original order and is not transferable to another customer, person, or separate purchase.

Abuse and Fraud Prevention

Breliio aims to provide fair and generous support to customers while preventing misuse of this policy.

Breliio reserves the right to deny any claim that appears fraudulent, excessive, abusive, misleading, or inconsistent with the purpose of the warranty or protection plan.

Breliio may also limit or refuse future warranty or protection claims where repeated claims suggest misuse, intentional damage, or abuse of the policy.

Final Decision

All warranty and protection claims are subject to review and approval by Breliio. Breliio reserves the right to make the final decision on whether a claim qualifies under the Standard Breliio Warranty, Breliio Extended Care, or Lost Umbrella Protection.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version of the policy in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order unless otherwise required by law.
